ABOUT BIFF

BIFF objective is to feature great cinema of worldwide filmmakers in a big way & at the same time providing professional networking & introducing current trends of cinema to the participants. The festival goal is to empower independent filmmakers and committed to become premium movie going event which foster the growth of independent filmmakers.

The 2018 to 2021 edition of BIFF was huge success with participation of filmmakers from more than 90 countries. The BIFF is expected to achieve many milestones towards the development of Independent Cinema. With this I welcome all filmmakers to come and join the movement which brings highest level of thoughts & culture of different nations in the form of enriching & entertaining cinema.

RULES & TERMS

1.Film must be subtitled in English if language is other than English.

2.Films participated in BIFF 2019 to 2021 are not eligible for participation in 2022.

3.Year of production: Jan. 2019 onwards.

4.Feature Films & Feature Documentary & Animated Feature Films: more than 60 min.

5.Short Film, Short documentary & Short Animation: up-to 50min.

BIFF2021 Awards has been published on official website.

* Please make sure that the submitted information such as movie posters, stills, introductions, etc. is complete.

* For promotion, we will use some movie posters, stills and trailers.

* The screening needs to provide a link to the movie available for download.

* By submitting a film to The Festival, the submitter agrees that the film will be screened in a live theatrical venue during the festival.

* All films submitted must be free from any legal disputes and the filmmaker must have cleared all rights for music and exhibition.
